My goal is to obtain experience that will one day allow me to be in a position to serve and protect the United States and its citizens. I'm very passionate about learning and being teachable, and hope to apply what I learn as a productive citizen as a future NSA employee.

The following details are why I feel that I am a great candidate for employment (within) the work-study program. First and foremost, I am able to maintain the level of confidentiality required for a career with the NSA. Secondly, I respect and value the place of my education which strengthens my knowledge and understanding of life around me. I always give my absolute best and aspire to attend school or work-study with a positive mindset. I thoroughly love writing and other clerical tasks which is why I am a member of Yearbook and therefore applying to the Office Assistant position. I enjoy collaborating with a team on projects and helping create something special as I do regularly on the Yearbook staff. The discipline that I have shown over the years through attendance and work ethic will allow me to be not only an excellent employee but a better citizen to my country. Since middle school, I have not missed a day of school and have perfect attendance awards dating back to the 7th grade. I'm a firm believer that being where you're supposed to be and doing what you're supposed to be doing are necessary for success in any area. Also, My background in computers will benefit me regarding employment within the work-study program. While in high school, I have completed very helpful computer courses and I am a Microsoft Office Specialist in Microsoft Word 2010 and Microsoft Access 2010. Also, I will take Introduction to Cyber Security during the second semester of my Junior year to further boost my knowledge. My passion for learning has also led me to inquire about other languages and cultures. In high school, I've taken Spanish classes and have become able to understand a little more day by day. Outside of school, I've taken it upon myself to pick up another language and have begun learning Polish. Through self-tutelage, I have become very familiar with the grammar of this language as well and I have the aspirations of one day visiting the country. I stated my experience with different languages to further illustrate that I'm self-motivated and I value being knowledgeable of different languages and cultures to better understand the world, and therefore, a better understanding of people who are different than I am. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I believe I have the following qualities that will benefit the NSA. I am a quick study and enjoy learning new topics; I'm versatile, able to quickly acquire new skills, I'm anxious to learn from others, and I have lots of positive spirit and enthusiasm. I'm keen to work for an agency with an impressive reputation and high profile like the NSA. I believe that my passion for learning and for my country contribute to a recipe for success within the work-study program and hopefully a future with the NSA.
