Me and Chalmers spoke two days ago on the phone after we begun planning the trip to Byron. Basically if we decided to go to Byron it would've costed a lot. ten hours driving along with money for petrol which would be a couple hundred along with us having to stop somewhere for James to rest. The house that was available was also extremely expensive which made it One thousand dollars to pay within five days. The only good thing about Byron is the ability to take food and alcohol with us.

After we realized that it was going to be ridiculously expensive to go to Byron we worked out it's going to be cheaper to go to the Gold Coast. I've found place's on the Gold Coast that are just as good and are cheaper. The only problem is that Chalmers wants to go the first week to party with the QLDers. And I don't blame him I would as well since it's hektik.

Basically, We have four hotel options.
Byron Bay place.
Australia's Sovereign Hotel.
Breakfree Acapulco.
At Surfers Tradewinds

There are some advantages with some of the hotels and some disadvantages.
The Sovereign Hotel -
It's 900m from Cavil Ave (Cavil Ave is the heart of Schoolies week.) And also 250m from the Beach, Everyone has there own bed (1x Queen, 2x Singles, 1x Sofa Bed.) For week one it'll cost $550 but also, week three it'll cost $511. This place also has it's own GYM, Bar, Pool's, Spa's and Sauna's.

Breakfree Acapulco - If I still lived in Brisbane I'd be going here. This one is 100m from the beach and 1km from Cavil Ave. If we decide to go here, Everyone will once again have there own bed. (1x Queen, 2x Singles, 1x Rollaway.) It has everything we want and need. The downfall is only the walk to Cavil ave. Everything else seems good. The pricing for the hotel in week one is $622 and Week three $511.

At Surfers Tradewinds - This place is my least favourite but I thought I'd put it in here cause it's the cheapest I found. It's 1.7km from Cavil Ave so we'd have to catch public transport to get there. (Mind you I believe it's free for the week.) and It's 100m from a Beach. Everyone will have a bed once again. (1x Queen, 2x Singles, 1x Rollaway.) It has pretty much all the same features as Breakfree. If we want to go week one it's $547 and Week 3 $503.

Since I've listed all Gold Coast place's (Apart from Byron which we already know about) We have to get up there. I found plane tickets which are available for $59 bucks there through Jetstar where we get 10kg of Luggage and on the way back I found one for $85 with Virgin and 23kg of luggage. The only difference is on the way back I will probably head to brisbane to see my mum for the few days.

For alcohol and food, I was thinking I could see if I can get alcohol sent up to my mums through my dads work (They sometimes do this) That way we can save a lot of money instead of buying it up in brisbane, but if we want beer or something just bring an extra 50-100 bucks for a case or 15 pack, (remember it has to be cans.) For food, since the ability to take James' food with us since I don't think we'll be able to take meat on the plane, We need roughly $100 bucks per-person to put into the groceries for the week, so that mean's we have $400 bucks to buy food for the week to eat at home. We can also take around 70-100 bucks for fast food for nights where we are going out or simply can't be fcked to cook.

To get around in Surfers and from the Airport It's either walking distance (Surfers.) and we catch a bus or some shit from Gold Coast Airport which I believe will have free transport/shuttles.

SO OVERALL FEE'S DEPENDING ON WHERE WE WANT TO GO!

BYRON BAY: (Wont do week 1 for Byron cause it's fucking way to expensive.)
Accommodation: $663 + $200 bond + $110 deposit.
Food: $100-150 each. (Roughly + James' meat.)
Drink: $100> (Since we are able to get it through my dads company.)
Travel: $200+ per person for petrol + somewhere to possibly stay since it's a 10 hour drive.
Other Money you want to bring: Up to you! (I'll probably bring another $100 bucks just in case.)
TOTAL: Roughly $1500+ when we actually workout all the prices for driving there, food and drink.

AUSTRALIA'S SOVEREIGN HOTEL: WEEK 1.
Accommodation: $550 + $200 + $110.
Food: Roughly $200.
Drink: $125 (Depending on if I can get dad to get it delivered.)
Travel: $59 + $85
Other Money: $150-$200. (REMEMBER PERSONAL CHOICE)
TOTAL: $1479. (How much I'll need. = $1344 *NOTE depending on how much my own return ticket will be.)

Accommodation: $511 + $200 + $110
Food: Roughly $200.
Drink: $125
Travel: $59 + $85
Other Money: $150-200.
TOTAL: $1440 (My Version = $1305)

BREAK-FREE ACAPULCO: WEEK 1.
Accommodation: $622 + $200 + $110
Food: Roughly $200.
Drink: $125
Travel: $59 + $85.
Other Money: $150-200.
TOTAL: $1551. (My Version = $1416)

BREAK-FREE ACAPULCO: WEEK 3.
Accommodation: $511 + $200 + $110.
Food: $200
Drink: $125
Travel: $59+$85
Other Money: $150-200.
TOTAL: $1440. (My Version = $1305)

AT SURFERS TRADEWINDS:
Accommodation: $547 + $200 + $110.
Food: $200
Drink: $125
Travel: $59+85.
Other Money: $150
TOTAL: $1476 (My Version = $1341)

AT SURFERS TRADEWINDS:
Accommodation: $503 + $110 + $200.

*NOTE - Food is a rough estimate. We can survive off two minute noodles for the week which are not expensive! ;)
*NOTE - Other Money is not really needed. It's just a suggestion just incase we run low! (I'm only going to take $100.)
*NOTE - IF we can find cheaper flights the next day out of BRISBANE airport, My mum probably will allow us to go to Brisbane and stay the night at hers. (It's a medium sized apartment so it might be squishy.
*NOTE - IF WE SEE MY SISTER BEAU IS REQUIRED TO BE 2km AWAY!
