How is it possible that nobody has seen Katakuri's real face ? Maybe except for Big Mom.
The elasticity of his mouth is obvsiously the work of his devil fruit, just like Luffy does when he eats.
But what about his scars ???
If he can shape his body at will then it does not make sense. So the only solution could be that he got does scars before he got the devil fruit. Either he got the scars fighting someone or maybe while he was eating. In the end he is still Big Moms son. So gluttony runs in the family and Katakuri loves his snack time.
Just imagine Katakuri eating but he wants to eat so much more so bad that he decides to slice open his mouth so more food can enter. That would be scary and cool.
So how did Katakuri find the Mochi Mochi No Mi ?
I could already see this scene :
Katakuri slices his mouth open and starts bleeding and is in pain and asks Big Mom for help. Big Mom seeing his son in that state decides to go on a rampage and begins to destroy island after island until she finds the perfect devil fruit for her son, a fruit capable of satisfying Katakuri's needs, the Mochi Mochi No Mi.
