adam milligan was fifteen when brimstone gave him the wishbone. He'd always been mature for his age and spent most of his childhood solemnly learning to sort teeth and gemstones. He was only eight when he first asked why his body felt wrong.

he breaks the wishbone when he is sixteen, when he feels ready, and he remembers. he looks at his hamsas with new understanding. he looks to the sky and wonders if angels--his angels--are real.

sixteen years ago, when adam was still madaanis, he saved the life of a seraph soldier on the battlefield and fell in love with him, and with his half-brother. the three of them were eventually found out and madaanis was executed, but managed to steal a body and free his angels.

he is twenty two and bleeding out in paris when he finds the other four.
castiel and gabriel are both seraphim, sam and dean are both high-human chimaera, and adam knew all of them in a past life. he keeps his secrets for now, though, and leaves (brimstone) with them to try and find his lovers, lucifer and michael, who are now both high-ranking war generals.
