1995--Lewis Robinson is born
2007--Lewis (12) meets Wilbur and the Robinsons in the future for the first time
2020--Lewis (25) marries Franny (24). Hiro Hamada is born
2023--Hiro (3) and Tadashi's (6) parents die and they are adopted by Aunt Cas
2024--Wilbur Robinson is born
2034--Tadashi (18) dies. Hiro (14) fights Callaghan, forms BH6, and joins SFIT later that year (15 after May)
2037--Wilbur (13) accidentally lets the time machines get stolen. He goes back in time to find Lewis
2038--Hiro (18) graduates from SFIT

The age gap between Hiro and Wilbur is 4 years. At the age of 18, after graduating from high school, Wilbur moves from Todayland to San Fransokyo in order to attend the San Fransokyo Institute of the Arts, majoring in languages, literature, and creative writing. He lives alone (save for a cat and his small T-Rex, who he shrunk with one of his father's inventions and brought with him) in a small yet nice apartment close to the Lucky Cat Cafe.

Hiro, who is 22, has a job at Krei Tech (after college, he and the rest of BH6 took a year off to fight crime and scare off potential baddies. Crime is now at a manageable level. He then interned for a year, so he's been working there for two years). He helps Aunt Cas whenever he can and still lives above the cafe with her. He's saving up for an apartment since KreiTech provides him with funding for his projects (he's currently working on mass producing the Baymax model).

They meet at the Cafe and hit it off, but their relationships, while adorable, is wrought with tension thanks to their secrets (Hiro's secret identity as the leader of Big Hero 6, and Wilbur as the heir to the Robinson fortune and son of the Father of the Future).

Cornelius founded Todayland as an experimental city to use to dump his projects in. It used to be his hometown. Most of his inventions are mass produced and tests for and in the city only, so while the rest of the world is very technologically advanced, Todayland shines as a beacon (a very expensive beacon). Obviously, some of the inventions are shipped to the rest of the world, but a lot of things (hovercars, instant buildings, bubble transportation) are still in the testing phase in the city.

It's every genius' dream to move to Todayland, so Hiro can't understand why Wilbur would leave (until Wilbur explains how he kind of grew to resent the sciences thanks to the constant pressure on him to be his father's legacy. he did average in school and it was tough to be surrounded by a family of geniuses and prodigies because of that). He's kind of a Human Disaster, but things always work out for him. Like, the boy has no common sense but he's never actually in real trouble because of it. (*gasp* until he is. do i smell plot????)
