Notes

I throw the orb quickly in the fireplace and it burns. The monsters drag Jocelyn, Riho and I back in the dungeon. They frown but I smile.
“Don’t worry, I managed to grab the key and I remember the way out. We can get out while the monsters are sleeping during the night. Since they snore so loud, we can sneak past them no problem.”
“What if we get caught? What if we don’t make it? What if…” They all questioned.
I stopped them, “Why are you guys so negative. Remember, we’re allergic to negativity!”
“Okay, but if we get caught, you’re getting blamed!” Riho mumbled.
“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes. At night, at about 10:00, we made our plan whispering.
“I’ll go see if the coast is clear.” I whispered to Jocelyn. “If I say ‘la costa está clara’ then you come out of hiding behind the couch, and run past the snoring monsters out the colorful door of the mansion. Once you run out, hide behind the fence until our other friend and I come running out. If you don’t pay attention, then we’ll leave without you? Kapeash?”
“Kapesh.” Jocelyn nodded.
“You just follow me. Got it?” I informed Riho.
“Got it! Whatever you say, just please, please, please don’t get us caught.”
At 10:30, our plan was go. I peeked in the monsters’ living room to find the monsters snoring their lungs out.
“La costa está clara!” I whispered. “Plan A, go!” Jocelyn came running from behind me to in front of me to the door and out.
“Get ready,” I said to Riho. “Let’s go. Follow me!” I ran past the monsters with Riho following me. We quickly opened the door to find Jocelyn behind the fence and we all ran out towards my house.
“We made it!” We all exclaimed jumping up and down. The next morning, I found a letter under my lamp. I read it:
“Dear Hannah,
I saw you and your friends come running out of a mansion. What type of mansion was it? What happened? I haven’t seen you in so long! Can we meet on the top of the hill next to the 2nd Avenue Park on Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon? I have so many questions to ask you. Long time no see. I hope you can make it!
Sincerely, unknown.”
I wondered who it was. The top of the hill next to 2nd Avenue Park was a very weird place to meet. On Saturday, at noon, I almost forgot about the letter. I thought about it and I decided not to go. In the meantime, on top of the hill, there was a monster waiting for someone suspiciously.
