1. Azkaban adalah?
ㅡ Azkaban adalah penjara paling kuat di kementrian sihir dengan penjagaan paling ketat dan tidak dapat ditembus oleh pihak luar dengan dilengkapi beberapa kutukan untuk menahan adanya narapidana yang mencoba kabur. Penjara Azkaban digunakan untuk memenjarakan kejahatan di dunia sihir dan biasanya pelakunya adalah orang yang telah melakukan kutukan tidak termaafkan yaitu kutukan Imperius, Cruciatus dan kutukan tidak termaafkan. Azkaban dulunya dijaga oleh dementor olh karena itu menyebabkan Penjara ini tidak dapat ditembus namun karena Dementor diangap tidak manusiawi penjara ini sekarang tidak lagi dijaga oleh dementor.
2. Kenapa tahanan Azkabandapat kabur?
ㅡ Tahanan Azkaban dapat kabur karena Dementor penjaga Azkaban memilih untuk memberontak dan bergabung bersama.Lord Voldemord hal ini menyebabkan beberapa narapidana dapat kabur dari Azkaban karena tidak adanya penjagaan terhadap Azkaban. Azkaban sendiri mengalami kekosongan dan menyebabkan Tahanan seperti Bellatrix Lestrange dan beberapa pelahap maut berhasil kabur dan kembali mengikuti Lord Voldemord.
