9/7/17: Why is it important to study Earth Science?
It is important to study Earth science because it gives us more information about our planet and helps us with stuff such as preventing natural disasters, global warming, and ecosystems.

Technology has affected science by providing us with access to better, faster, and more powerful tools to use to research science. The Internet also provides us with quick and easy access to information and allowing for collaboration across the globe.

9/13/17: Name 2 places scientists present the results of their work.
Scientists present the results of their work with their peers (for peer review) and on the Internet.

9/15/17: What is the difference between a theory and a scientific law?
The difference between a theory and a scientific law is that a theory is a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained, and a scientific law is a phenomenon of nature that has been proven to invariably occur whenever certain conditions exist or are met.
