1. 2 manfaat rumput laut :
-Sebagai sumber vitamin : Rumput laut mengandung vit A,vit B12, zat besi, yodium dan kalium yang sangat berguna bagi tubuh. Karena banyaknya kandungan yang bermanfaat, rumput laut dianggap memiliki kalsium lebih banyak daripada brokoli dan susu.
-Untuk mengatur fungsi hormonal tubuh : Rumput laut sangat berguna untuk orang-orang yang menderita gangguan tiroid (Hipertiroid atau hipotiroid) karena memiliki kandungan yodium yang dapat melancarkan proses sintesis hormon yang dihasilkan oleh kelenjar tiroid.
2. 3 jenis rumput laut :
- Rumput laut jelly : Memiliki bentuk yang mirip dengan karang dengan batang cukup tebal dan bercabang. Umumnya dijadikan sebagai es, bahan kosmetik gel dan pengental. Dapat ditemukan di hampir seluruh pantai nusantara.
- Rumput laut baron : Memiliki bentuk seperti lembaran daun selada, sekilas mirip dengan brokoli. Dapat ditemukan di kawasan Gunung Kidul, Pantai Baron, Yogyakarta.
- Rumput laut suun atau bulung : Memili bentuk lebih kecil dari rumput laut jelly dan mirip dengan ranting pohon cemara. Terbagi menjadi dua jenis : Bulung putih dan hijau. Dapat ditemukan di selat atau pantai sekitaran Bali.
3. Bantal sulam, Bayur, Sarang semut, Raflesia Arnoldi, Anggrek hitam.
4. Vitamin A dan vitamin B12
5. Rumput laut mengandung sekitar 5-20 kalori
6. Sarang semut merupakan jenis tumbuhan epifit.
