The echoes of a failed past scream
Yet they never seem to hear.
Darkness is their reckless lack of fear
And now the sentence is very clear.
And the shepherd fooled his poor sheeps
To a wicked kind of creed
A crucified criminal in the centuries
Made a saint by a holy revery.
It's like they buried their humanity beneath the ground
Never to see it again.
And then they burned out things we should never have done
And saw the smoke dissipate in pain.
Masses standing in holy denial
As I watch hypocrisy rise.
While their poisoned machine runs to its very end
As to a new world collapse they collide.
Throw it all up into the air
and scream: "HA-LLE-LU-JAH!"
Toast the stupidity we were bred in
I feel as blessed as never before.
The evil belief in his numb father
Spread across the harmed face of the land
CROSSES FOR CROSSES, EYES FOR EYES
As the blood that drains down the wood is ours!
A whole generation of demons in suits
Now try to control our thoughts in minds
Microchipped like cattle, you're forced into the battle
While they build their prison future and you're blind.
Laugh at this nightmare with me
And scream: "HA-LLE-LU-JAH!"
Rejoice the naive slaves we pretend to be not
I feel as blessed as never before
I get my hands together
HALLELUJAH
I close my eyes with faith
HALLELUJAH
I kneel on stiff dark leather
HALLELUJAH
And now I pray for a plague.
