Chapter 1 Meeting the wrong person.

"I love my life!" I thought as I ran through the woods. " She's over here!" I hear one of the guards yell in my direction, I took off as soon as we made eye contact; I spotted the biggest Sequoia tree in the area and climbed up it as fast as I can. " Where'd she go?" The General yelled, " You go left and we'll go right!" " Yes, Sir!" This was the 4th time this month that I was chased by the palace guards. After a couple of mins, I climbed back down from my genius hiding spot and examined my feet. " Ouch, that's a really big cut." Adding to my already scratched up feet I got a new bloody scar; I tore a piece of my already ripped coat and wrapped it around my cut. I flinched as some blood oozed from the cut after, I finished with my terrible attempt of first aid.
When I got home I was greeted by an angry mom, dad and, brother (younger brother) " Where have you been!?" My mom shrieked before my dad could even get mad. " Look I have a perfect-" My dad cut me off before I could finish, " I thought we told you to stop running around stealing! This is the third time this month!" I somehow managed to muster " 4th time this month..." After an hour of lecturing, my punishment was no dinner and I had to spend the night in the barn. It's funny really, I get in trouble each time but, they always welcome the things I stole. After a month I was riding through the woods on my horse, Trouble, I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard the long shrill scream of an..... little girl? Maybe, I raced through the trees until I came to a little clearing in the woods. I tied Trouble to a tree and hid behind a tree, what I saw shocked me beyond what I was prepared for.

Chapter 2

What I had in mind was a gang of thugs surrounding a little girl, that I could easily get rid of but; what I saw made me rethink my entire plan. A man about my age, I think, was kneeling on the ground by the way he was dressed he looked like he was from the rich neighborhood. About a dozen men in black surrounded him, but only one of them didn't have his hood on. He had chestnut brown hair and looked the same age as the guy who was kneeling. " Here take all that I have, just spare me my life." He pleaded
" Wait he looks really familiar... Oh My God! Isn't that the prince!?" I screamed in my head holding my mouth shut. The cold voice brought me back to my senses. " Ha! You think we're after your money!?" He talked in this way that made you feel cold and dark " Surrender your crown and we'll let you live." " So that's what this is about? Why do you feel that I'm not suitable for the crown " Prince Jeffery stared at the leader, I'm guessing, but he stared back too " All you are is a conceited rich kid who only knows how to spend money. You know, I know all your family's secret like how your father, the so-called king, killed his brother to get the throne!" " How do you know that!?" It felt like they somehow knew each other, by the way, they were looking at each other their eyes told a whole different story. " Boss, we found her hiding behind the tree." One moment I'm hiding quietly by my self, next all eyes are on me.
