#6 - „Deathmatch“

A room with black walls which make it appear very huge. And in the middle of the room, an arena. A rather small one. In the form of a circle. On its edges were tall towers that seemed to be made of ice. Likewise were in the middle of the arena smaller towers, also most likely made of ice. I was just a spectator, who probably stood on one of the huge towers, so I had a good view over it all. What else was in the arena, was a person who I didn't know, and... huge yellow heads that somehow seemed to move through the arena. The person made his move and went to each of the heads... stabbing entirely through them... with his own head... I watched only for a short amount of time, until everything suddenly changed. I automatically jumped right into the arena, and the person and the heads vanished. There were now many other people beside me in the arena. I knew only three of those. One was my girlfriend, Kayleigh. The other one was my best friend, Suvan. And the third one, I don't know him but the fact that he is my girlfriend's ex. I don't exactly know how it was obvious or how I noticed, but everyone in the arena was now sorted into a team. There were only two teams. In each were around 10 people. Suvan was in the same team as me. However Kayleigh and that other guy were in the other team. That's when hell broke lose. Everyone had a knife. And everyone knew automatically what to do. - Stab the opponent, everyone from the other team, to death. From then on it all passed by very quickly, my mind is foggy and my memory is unclear. It was a blood bath like no other. Ending very soon though. The last ones standing, how faith wanted it. Kayleigh, Suvan, me, that other guy, and a few other people who were all from the other team. Those other people were just standing in the background though. Watching us. I was facing Suvan, and then turned around to see a knife fly right towards me. I managed to dodge so that it only brushed my side. However... It hit Suvan who stood behind me right then. I could only watch in horror as he looked down to the knife in his chest and the blood rushing to the ground, the light in his eyes vanishing, and him falling back to the ground. I yelled his name, and blocked out everyone and everything around me. Yet I got forced back to focus right after. The others, who have been in the background, watching, now also threw their knives all into my direction. It was too much. And I couldn't react. However the knives all aswell only brushed me, as if on purpose. It still burned and hurt a lot, making my eyes water in pain. And specks of blood dripped down my entire body. I gasped in pain and took a quick glance to Kayleigh, and the other guy who also threw the first knife that hit Suvan. Both of them had serious expressions on their faces. I felt myself getting weaker and leaned against one of the smaller towers for support. Kayleigh now slowly walked towards me. I moved my head up to look at her, and she put one hand on my cheek, leaned in and kissed me gently. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I slowly kissed back. Wishing this moment would last for just a while. However... Harsh pain struck right through me and I took a weak step back, slowly gazing down. My eyes widened and I started to slightly shake in fear as I saw a knife in my chest, and Kayleigh holding the knife. My lips parted slightly and I only managed to bring out a weak and quiet „Why“. She then slowly pulled out the knife again, and I fell down on my knees, trying to cover the wound. My vision was blurry, my mind was foggy, my ears were ringing and I felt myself slipping in and out of consciousness. I pressed my eyes shut as she crouched in front of me, ran her hand through my hair and only whispered „I love you“. She then got up again and turned around, walking away, as my vision turned black and my now lifeless body falling to the ground.
