Creating An Empowering Culture

The best leaders don't gather followers. They empower leaders.
It's very loving to have the difficult conversations as a leader.
Not dealing with the toxic one is unhealthy to the loving one.
-Be Specific about what needs to improve.
-Give deadline on improvements.
-Give them the tools to improve.
-At the end, celebrate the growth or make a change.
Communicate with clarity and extend trust.
Clarity without trust produces fear and inaction.
Trust without clarity gives them work without direction.
Trust is the necessary net that results in risk-taking.
Guard the values of your organization and surrender control.
The number one force that shapes your culture is your values.
If you empower the right people, eventually they will do it far better than I could ever do it.
The best leaders do not delegate tasks. They delegate authority.
When you delegate tasks, you create followers.
When you delegate authority, you create leaders.
Push the vast majority of the decisions to be made deeper into the organization.
You can tell the strength of the organization by how deep decision making happens in the organization.
Make the decisions that only you can make and delegate the rest.
Those that are controlled cannot grow as leaders.
You can have control or you can have growth but you cannot have both.
Extend clarity and trust to your team.
As leaders, we want to see aggressive mistakes instead of passive ones.
If you empower the right people, there's no limit to what you can accomplish in your organization.
If you don't empower people, you are the limit of your organization.
Strength of your organization is based on who you empower.
