My thoughts on the song is is the melody of the song shows maybe the sweetness and pureness of her grandmother in her former self, the song for sure comes from Elvis Costello's grandmother suffering alziehmer's, but people with diseases that mess with you're mind, I think it keeps them stuck inside their mind and I wonder they might still have advantages I always see my autistic cousin picking up on skills way faster than me he can look at Toronto over a helicopter and draw it out he somehow has incredible memory he can pick up on french just by watching a french film. Alzhiemere's takes away and gives you something even though it's takes away something you need for survival. I don't know what goes on in the mind of people suffering alzhiemer's but I feel as if it a whole adventure or maybe they recognize you and forget you 2 seconds later or maybe people with alzheimer's worry about things so much. We'll never know unless we have alzhiemers but maybe we will if we get cured from alzheimer's.
