1. Dumbledore meninggal pada tanggal 30 Juni 1997, dimana dibunuh oleh Professor Snape dengan kutukan Avada Kedavra dari menara Astronomi, dan tubuhnya pun jatuh dari menara Astronomi. Dumbledore yang saat itu lemah karena terkena racun dari Hocrux kalung RAB [Regulus A. Black] bersama Harry Potter.
2. ~ Benda pertama, Golden Snitch dan Pedang Godric Gryffindor. Snitch yang ia berikan merupakan snitch yang pernah Harry tangkap pada pertandingan asrama Gryffindor dengan Slytherin tahun 1991. Kemudian Snitch tersebut digunakan oleh Albus Dumbledore untuk memastikan bahwa cincin Marvolo Gaunt akan aman dikirim ke Harry. Pada saat yang sama, ia memastikan Harry tidak bisa mengakses Batu Kebangkitan ke dalamnya hingga ia siap.
~ Benda kedua adalah deluminator milik Dumbledore di serahkan kepada Ronald Weasley.
~ Benda ketiga adalah buku cerita untuk anak-anak penyihir di wariskan kepada Hermione Granger.
3. Karena dalam 30 hari Kementrian Sihir memeriksa surat tersebut apakah surat tersebut berisikan sesuatu yang mencurigakan atau tidak. Kementrian juga memeriksa apakan items tersebut dikelilingi oleh dark magic atau tidak dan membayangkan mengapa Dumbledore mewariskan mereka items-items yang ada di surat wasiatnya.
