Little Scholars GRASSHOPPERS is just another milestone for your toddler! The curriculum we have for your toddler works wonders. Your toddler will participate in music with instruments, arts and crafts, water and sand play, science and social studies. Your toddler will also learn beginner sign language and Spanish. This classroom is bright and colorful and filled with toddler work and art.

We will keep your toddler safe in this loving environment. We all know at this age toddlers like to put things in their mouths so the GRASSHOPPER ROOM takes pride in washing and sanitizing all items throughout the day to prevent the spread of germs.
We will encourage your toddler to practice self help skills like feeding themselves and washing his/her hands. We will provide finger foods and allow adequate time for pleasurable feeding. In the GRASSHOPPER ROOM the toddlers are on a schedule which rotates from busy activities to quiet calm activities.
We are on a nutritious food program which means our menus are pre-planned by the state, so your toddler is offered a healthy meal and snack two times a day. Milk is served with all meals and snacks. Many toddlers like to recognize who will take care of them. That is one of the main reasons why you will love Little Scholars: GRASSHOPPER ROOM, your toddler will only be acquainted with the same staff member daily.
On your toddlers first day of school:
*All forms must be filled out
*Food programs form completed
*Physical and birth certificate completed
*Enough Pull-ups that close on the sides and wipes
*A backpack big enough for a folder to fit.
*School supplies from list
*A small blanket for nap time
*Full set of extra clothing for storage
