Essay Krav Maga
1. Krav Maga merupakan beladiri jarak dekat asal Israel yang dipelajari oleh pasukan Israel Special Force.Tidak seperti Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) yang hanya khusus dipelajari marinir di Amerika saja, Krav Maga menyebar sampai ke Amerika. Krav Maga dikembangkan oleh seorang bernama Imi Lichtenfield. Beliau menggunakan beladiri ini untuk latihan dalam gulat dan tinju dalam usahanya melindungi Yahudi menghadapi pasukan fasis di Bratislava. 1930-1940, Imi Lichtenfield mulai mengajarkan beladiri ini di Israel, mulai dari pada rakyat biasa, polisi, dan militer seperti IDF, Mossad, dan Shin Bel. Kini sudah ada organisasi internasional untuk Krav Maga, yaitu International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF).
2. Tidak bisa, karena Krav Maga merupakan beladiri tangan kosong. Dilihat dari salah satu prinsip dasarnya, yaitu untuk membalikkan serangan musuh, rasanya tidak mungkin diterapkan dalam battle melawan strigoi mengingat kita tidak menghadapi musuh kita (strigoi) dengan hanya menggunakan serangan fisik, tapi serangan dengan skill element juga. Sifatnya yang menyerang membabi buta, belum tentu bisa dilakukan pada strigoi, karena strigoi tidak akan mati dengan serangan fisik, melainkan karena benda atau skill tertentu.
