➡ Pengajar Transfigurasi
➡ Lahir pada 4 Oktober 1925.
➡ Menjabat sebagai Wakil Kepala Sekolah dan Kepala Asrama Gryffindor (dulunya beliau juga merupakan murid asrama Gryffindor, dan merupakan salah satu murid terpandai pada masanya.)
➡ Animagus : Kucing
➡ Menyukai motif kotak-kotak; bahkan gaun dan kaleng biskuitnya bermotif kotak-kotak, kemungkinan berasal dari leluhurnya Skotlandia.
➡ McGonagall adalah salah satu pengikut setia Dumbledore, yang selalu mendukungnya, dan tercatat sebagai anggota Orde Phoenix. (Professor Dumbledore sebelum menjabat sebagai kepala sekolah juga pernah menjabat sebagai pengajar Transfigurasi.)
➡ Prof. McGonagall pernah mentransfigurasi meja di kelasnya menjadi babi dan mengembalikan seperti semula.
➡ McGonagall adalah staf Hogwarts yang mengatur upacara Topi Seleksi. Beliau memegang Topi Seleksi saat Sorting Hat.
➡ Beliau juga sangat menyukai Quidditch. Ia menjadi komentator dibagian pendamping saat pertandingan QD.
➡ Ikut bertempur di Pertempuran Hogwarts, menjadi salah satu pemimpin pasukan +yang memimpin sisa murid Hogwarts yang tinggal untuk ikut bertempur, staff Hogwarts, & anggota-anggota Orde Phoenix saat melawan Voldemort.
➡ Beliau menjadi kepala sekolah Hogwarts setelah pertempuran melawan Voldemort tersebut.
