Rasi Bintang Pari/Crux
Berbentuk seperti salib/pari/layang-layang, dapat dilihat pada langit malam dengan posisi agak ke selatan. Rasi ini merupakan penunjuk arah selatan, biasanya digunakan para penjelajah saat tersesat.
Rasi Bintang Orion/Waluku
Berbentuk seperti seorang pemburu, dapat dilihat di langit malam pada arah barat. Rasi ini dinamai Orion karena selain artinya adalah pemburu, rasi ini pula didedikasikan untuk Putra Neptunus, Orion, sang pemburu yang hebat. Pada rasi ini, terdapat bintang Bellatrix dan Betelgeuse.
Pada zaman dulu, rasi ini digunakan para petani sebagai pertanda telah tiba musimnya untuk bercocok tanam.
Rasi Bintang Great Bear/Beruang Besar/Biduk
Berbentuk seperti gayung bergagang panjang. Rasi ini dibentuk oleh tujuh bintang sehingga sering juga disebut sebagai konstelasi tujuh bintang. Digunakan sebagai penunjuk arah utara.
Rasi Bintang Scorpio
Jika dilihat di langit, rasi ini agak susah dikenali karena bintang yang menyusunnya cukup banyak. Dalam mitologi Yunani kuno, Scorpio merupakan utusan dari Apollo untuk membunuh si pemburu, Orion.
Rasi ini menjadi penunjuk arah timur atau tenggara. Bintang Antares, salah satu bintang paling terang yang pernah ditemukan, termasuk ke dalam rasi ini.
