The modern school of today has a short history of repeated injustice towards students through homework. To prove this, let facts be submitted to the world.
-Homework has taken away from our social life.
-Homework has deprived us from after school time, for a hardworking student, to relax.
-Homework has forced us to spend long and tedious hours writing or typing incredibly boring essays and answers.
-Homework has created a constant feeling of dread among students among getting home.
-Homework has caused a great deal of pain to students.
In every stage of these oppressions we have we have humbly responded by indirectly complaining to our teachers, creating Facebook pages against homework, telling our parents, and volunteering in strikes where we refused to do our homework for a couple of days. None of which has worked.
Have we not patiently and waited for this injustice to end? Have we not responded in civilized manners? Therefore, We the students, of the modern school declare that we should have the right to stand up for ourselves and announce us free from the burden of homework.
