Dreams haunt me every night, each time i close my weary eyes I appear in the same place unfamiliar to me, always in the same gloomy forest with many trees all made bare by the winters cold wrath. The ground repeatedly crunched from the frosted leaves, leaving my toes almost frost bitten, although it felt strangely comforting knowing it was only a fantasy. But much to my marvel it was far from a figment of my imagination because I know I don't have a complex enough mind to imagine such surroundings.
That is until I realized why this place felt strange me. I cannot believe it took me this long to realize where i was standing. No wonder i felt this place was off-putting, this is where my grandfather warned me to stay away, he told me he did something terrible to someone and that one day i would be in danger too because of his reckless actions, those where is last words to me before he was apart of the witches revenge, that night changed my life forever, apparently my grandfather and his friends found a witch practicing the dark arts when they were younger, they told the local police and the witch was hung. It was rumored that the witch had a daughter who seeks to bring her mother back from the dead, to do that she needed 20 people's souls, apparently she bewitched them into a dream state until she completed the ritual, when she did finish there were 20 corpses on the ground. she succeeded in resurrecting her mother, and the mother is out for revenge, that's why my grandfather told me to stay away, I am in danger because the witches revenge. she swore to go after every single person who was responsible for her death. oh my... I have just realized.. oh how can I miss this, she has gotten to me, I knew something wasn't right before i went to sleep... I left the door unlocked... i'm dead.
