Just by way of introduction, Conor is my name and I am e-mailing you today on behalf of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. CF Ireland is a charity organisation that was set up in 1963 to improve the treatment and facilities for people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. We are supported by fundraising and voluntary contributions and are solely concerned with the well-being of people with Cystic Fibrosis.
The reason I am e-mailing you today is to let you know about a charity cycle which some of your members might be interested in. Each year CF Ireland aim to recruit a team of cyclists to take part in the Paris2Nice cycle which takes place each September. The Paris2Nice cycle is a unique and exceptional experience that has raised over €3,000,000 for charity in five years from 305 amateur cyclists. This is your chance to become part of one of the leading fundraising, social and fitness events in Ireland and to make 2017 a year to remember.
The Paris2Nice 2017 cycle will take place from 16th – 21st September. Cyclists will set out from Paris on 16th September and arrive 6 days later in Nice in the south of France. These will take place in The Hampton Hotel, Dublin 4 on Wednesday 22nd Feb at 8pm and also on Tuesday 21st March at 8pm.
