私は啓ちゃんと1時半まで飲んだ後、啓ちゃんを事務所まで送り届けて家に帰ったのだが、寝る直前になって携帯を啓ちゃんの家に置き忘れた事に気が付いた。だから私は置き忘れた携帯を取りに、わざわざこんな時間に啓ちゃんの事務所にとんぼ返りして来たのだ。当然啓ちゃんは寝ているだろうから、前に貰った合鍵を使ってこっそり忘れた携帯を回収するつもりだったのに。
出る前に閉めたはずの鍵を回しても手応えが無い。思えばここで引き返すべきだった。不審に思いながら扉を開けると、毛布にくるまって寝る啓ちゃんと脚を広げて隣に座る男の影。泥棒かと身構えるがよく見たら嫌という程知っている顔だった。
「あんたここで何しとん...」
タバコの煙を口から吐き出す桑原の投げ出された脚をよく見ると、ベルトとズボンの前たてがだらしなく開いている。
「何って、見た分かるやろ」
分かりたくない。どうして啓ちゃんがこの寒い中裸で毛布にくるまっているのか、ソファの端にこびり付いている白い液体は何なのか、ゴミ箱から溢れそうなティッシュの山が何に使われたものなのか、分かりたくもない。
「ありえへん、啓ちゃんを傷付けたら許さへんって言うたはずやろ」
「合意の上や」
「啓ちゃんはぐでんぐでんに酔っとりました」
「無理やり盛ったら犯罪やろ」
ヤクザのくせして何をほざいとるんや。一仕事終えましたみたいな顔しよって。痛む頭を押さえつつ、ソファにこぼれる白い液体を目をそらしながらティッシュで拭う。
「わしゃあ夜の方では優しゅうしたるんやで？お姉ちゃんもいっぺん抱かれてみるか」
セクハラで訴えたら勝ちそうな言葉を無視し、どうにかしてこいつの口を塞ぐ方法はないかと思案する。
啓ちゃんの体が冷えてしまわないかが心配で、ソファにかけてあった啓ちゃんのジャケットを毛布の上からかけた。
「ほら、用が済んだんやから出てってください」
キッ、と睨みつけながら言うと、ノロノロと身なりを整え出した。腰が重そうなのには気付きたくなかった。
ホンマに、はよこんな疫病神と縁切ってや、金も身も心も全部持ってかれるで、啓ちゃん。
