Bahasa (dari bahasa Sanskerta भाषा, bhāṣā) adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki manusia untuk berkomunikasi dengan manusia lainnya menggunakan tanda, misalnya kata dan gerakan. Kajian ilmiah bahasa disebut ilmu linguistik.

3. berdasarkan lisan dan tulisan
4. resmi ataupun tidak resmi
5. kaidah fonetis, morfologis, kosakata, dan gramatika
