Trump won the presidential election on November 8, 2016, against Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, and assumed office on January 20, 2017.
Here's why we like him:
1. He stands for capitalism.
America was not founded to be a socialistic country, but a capitalistic one. Donald trump is one of the most successful capitalists in the country, and he can help to motivate young people to pursue capitalism, rather than have them work 9 to 5 jobs and pay high taxes to support the welfare state.
2. He’s an American first
Trump’s loyalty will only be to America and Americans—not any political party, special interest group or foreign entity. Like his slogan reads, “Make America great again!”
3. Trump is extremely confident in International Affairs.
Unlike Obama, Trump is willing to speak his mind, and has stated that he would react differently to the Russians, and to Vladimir Putin. In relation to this, people are either agreeing with him, or acting scared of the repercussions from these actions. Vladimir Putin needs to respect the American president rather than look down on him, as he currently does to Obama.
4. He has a business background.
The economy of America is looking better, but to truly bring ourselves into a time of prosperity, we need a president that has experience with business. Trump is the best candidate to do so, because he has been managing his businesses throughout the course of his entire life.
5. Trump gives America a lick of paint
Its roads are crumbling; trains crawl; airports look unsafe. Trump has promised to update infrastructure and create those blue-collar jobs that voters miss.
