Remember that odd 'Seinfeld' episode about the 'Soup Nazi'?
Well, I want you to be that irascible chef and I'll play the
part of actor who offends him and thus gets NO SOUP.
I'm not quite sure why you started having dad deliver
cans of Campbells, but I am hereby politely requesting
they be ceased and desisted.
I mean if one day you break out the crockpot and make
some homemade chili or hearty vegetable stew, then
By All Means, I would be happy to gobble that up.
But no more canned store-bought stuff, okay?
Hmm, it occurs to me that you really like soup.
(I'm basing that observation on the numerous times
you get soup when we meet at Wegmans.) But I'm
not really a soup dude.
I don't dislike soup, but I don't usually seek it out on my
own. So if you are giving me soup b/c you enjoy soup,
stop doing that and just Enjoy the Soup Yourself!
Look, you do 1001 super nice things for me and you
are an awesome mom! But can we just scratch soup
off the list?
(Shar has pointed out to me that you and I have an odd
contest we engage in wherein I bring stuff for you to nosh
on and you don't like it, and you bring stuff for me to
nosh on and many times I love it, but sometimes it's a
No Go.)
