Being the youngest of 3 older sibling that all went to the same high school and graduated to on to go college. I kind of knew how my high school experience would go and turn out. It wasn't that many surprises or head turners for me because I already heard from my sibling stories and advice on what to expect and how to handle it. So while my two older sisters would tell me advice on teachers, students, programs, and homework. My brother would tell me his advice on sports, girls, classes or anything else. But one thing I notice that they all told me is that if you can make it through Lima Senior you can make it anywhere and its true. The student body here is so diverse with so many groups and cliques and challenges that it prepares you for the real world. My mom who also graduated from Lima Senior once told me that no matter how terrible or bad of a rep Lima Senior got. Sending one of her kids to another school in the area was never an option. She believed that even though those other schools may seem to have smarter teachers and students and more challenging academics. Their schools shielded them from the outside world and most of them will never experience diversity until they go into the real world.
