Over the past years and as our generation of where you always have to be perfect and love technology keeps improving the more teen car crashes we experience. That's why I think the legal age to drive should increase.
Most teens believe that their phones ae super important. What's on their screens can affect their life now and most teens don't even know it. "A 16-year-old is almost twice as likely to die in a car crash than a 30-year-old. and new issue such as cellphones driving, texting while driving, and other forms of distracted driving," (www.drive-safety.net). This evidence lays stress upon the fact that most teens can't stay away from their phones and technology has really changed this generation to have them really rely on their phones.
Although most teens are always hooked onto their phones they are most likely to rebel and drink which could put themselves and others at a risk of death. "Teens drink, rave, and have parties and put themselves and other people in danger. Teens don't know much about the consequences that come with driving," (Katie Gracia). "In 2014, 2,290 teens in the united states ages 16-19 were killed and 221,313 were treated in the emergency department for injuries suffered in motor vehicle crashes," (www.cdc.gov). The evidence highlights that teens are most likely to get in a car crash and die or be in the hospital for emergency treatment. We can obviously that most teens are well aged to drive, so that's why I think the legal age to drive should be increased.
