Series of blog posts, each of which are dedicated to a certain aspect of my path to cultural identity. The rhetor will be myself and it will be a very personal blog with a true display of my experiences. The audience I will be appealing to is people (generally students) ages 17-22, and people in situations similar to mine. It could be people whose families, like mine, immigrated and lost a sense of cultural identity and want to rebuild it.

As for rhetoric, the blogs will be lacking flowery and sophisticated language, and instead use very colloquial language. I'm going to attempt to make the blogs easy and fun to read, humorous and such. Something I found in writing my first draft is syntax is a large part of my rhetorical strategy - it helps me build emphasis on certain points as well as provide brief humorous relief at times. There will be pictures or diagrams that accompany the text. The way I imagine it, the pictures won't directly relate to the text, but will make general connections and, as with the other strategies, emphasis the seriousness or provide for comedic relief.
