It is hard to believe that six moons have passed since I first found myself under the roof of this house. Much has transpired, much has changed. I cannot forget the history here, nor erase it. I cannot hide that I have become a far different person than the one who first met you and sang to you a song in the garden.
But some things have also not changed. So it is that as on the first day, I still have no real place at the exchange. Though I have given sweat and blood, though I have risked gil and life, all in loyalty to the Company, I remain a ghost in these halls. For six moons I have sought my place here, trying to prove myself and earn the right to be more than an errand girl.
There are many things I can say: painful things, hurtful things. Instead, I will say this: after months of deliberation and work, I am resigning from Glowfly. I have new employment under a confidential contract, and I cannot split my time between honest work and dangerous dalliances. I have chosen the former.
It is possible my wives will soon follow. They have freedom to make their own choices, and no ill will shall be held between us regardless of the outcome.
May your hunts be ever fruitful. Perhaps we will work together more honestly in the future.
