Penyihir Yang Dapat Merubah Wujudnya
Penyihir yang dapat mentransformasikan dirinya kapan saja ia mau disebut animagus (animagi). Beberapa penyihir mampu mengubah dirinya menjadi sosok ini,namun hanya 7 yang terdaftar di Kementrian Sihir. Animagus yang terdaftar pertama kali adalah Penyihir Yunani kuno bernama Falco Aesalon, animagusnya berbentuk seekor falcon.
Kedua,seorang penyihir wanita dari Yunani kuno yang dapat mengantarkan pelaut tersesat dan mengubah mereka menjadi seekor Babi.
Ketiga,Ratu Penyihir Morgan le Fey memiliki animagus dengan bentuk burung.
Keempat,Mirabella Punket. Seorang penyihir malang yang yang jatuh cinta pada manusia duyung. Sayangnya,keluarga Mirabella tidak setuju. Karenanya, Mirabella mengubah dirinya menjadi ikan dan sejak saat itu sosoknya menghilang.
Kelima,Clidona atau Clidone yang memiliki animagi burung. Sosoknya berada pada kartu coklat kodok
Keenam,Petter Pettigrew yang merupakan salah satu anggota Marauder dari Gryffindor memiliki animagus berbentuk tikus kebun.
Ketujuh, Sirius Black memiliki animagus berbentuk Anjing besar Griffin.
Kedelapan, James Potter dapat berubah wujud menjadi Rusa jantan.
Kesembilan, Ritta Sketter dapat merubah dirinya menjadi kumbang dan antenanya berfungsi sebagai alat perekam
Terakhir, Minerva McGonagall yang dapat merubah dirinya menjadi kucing dengan ciri berkacamata di pelipisnya.
