Pedomancy adalah Ramalan dengan media melalui interpretasi dari jejak kaki. Ramalan dengan metode ini sangatlah kuno khususnya di kalangan Tiongkok. Jejak kaki harus dicetak di media tanah liat. peramal menggunakan baik lempung/tanah liat magis ataupun bahan magis khusus dicampur dengan tanah liat.
Dipercaya bahwa kaki seseorang merupakan sebuah "simbol jiwa" dan akan mengungkapkan kepribadian dan masa depan mereka pada saat tertentu dilihat dari karakteristik seperti ukuran, bentuk, dan garis. Hal ini dapat dengan benar dilakukan oleh seorang “Pedomancer” atau seseorang yang mempraktekkan Pedomancy.
Jejak kaki yang bermasalah secara nyata ataupun tidak jelas atau rusak didasarkan pada garis kaki. ketika terdapat lebih dari satu garis menunjuk pada jempol kaki, itu berarti orang tersebut akan menjadi kaya dan akan berbagi kekayaan nya pada orang yang kurang beruntung. Jika terdapat hanya satu garis maka itu berarti kehidupan seseorang akan sulit dan keras. Garis yang dangkal berarti orang tersebut mempunyai sifat yang bergairah
