: Suggestions :


...I think it would be a good idea to use your printer to print this page out! There are too many
console command codes here to remember and the exact spelling of the command code line is crucial!

You could always just crop printable sections to print out at any one time if you really don't want
to print out everything here at once! My poor typing skills and lack of proper margins may require
you to make this page "printer friendly" before sending to your printer! ... sorry!

You can also find correct spawn-in codes, plus other spawn-in codes by dropping down the console while
in-game, type in "monster" for example, now hit the "Tab" button repeatedly as you scroll through the
"monster" selections! Once you arrive at the "monster" your looking for press "Enter" and he will now
spawn-in! This will work for all entities as long as you enter the first word only and then scroll!

= INSTRUCTIONS AT A GLANCE =


1. Unzip contents of pak104_ams_thunderbolt_squad.zip into a folder of your choice.

2. Place the pak104_ams_thunderbolt_squad.pk4 file in your Doom3/base directory.

3. To spawn any of these Squadmates, access your drop down command console while in-game.
Use "CTRL+Alt+~" to access your drop down command console and type in the commands provided
given in one of the "Spawn Guides". Then "ENTER"..then ~ to remove drop down console from view.

* You can also add the line "+seta com_allowConsole 1" to your command line to gain access or type
manually into your "Doom3/base/autoexec.cfg file" and use the one ~ key to gain access as well.

4. Just type "spawn" before any command line or Type "bind" then the "KEY" before "spawn" if binding to a key!

"BFG Carry-Case Edition Redux"


This was "Jack Campbell" in soldier uniform with the "BFG Carry-Case". He has now been re-done by
me to make better use of this model. Instead of just a "Rescued Follower" holding the "BFG Case"
he has now been refitted to be a quite deadly "Hybrid Mutant" marine named "Thunderbolt"!

"=AMS= Thunderbolt" is a very custom build so please forgive the extra long spawn-in code! Binding
him to a "key" will make life much easier! He doesn't enter through the firey "Teleportation Portal"
and just like "BFG Campbell" he doesn't "Run". I set him up this way as he had problems when running.

After spawn-in you will have to command him to "Follow" or then to "Hold" position. "Thunderbolt" is
a little slow to respond to your "Follow" command at times so give him a few seconds to get moving!

On "Thunderbolts" belt, you will notice a neat little utility light left in the "ON" position. Adding
this feature was just one way of getting rid of the "BFG Carry-Case" that this model does call for and
frees up his hands as well. I added a little "throat clearing" sound as he makes his way to you!

"Thunderbolt" does bleed when shot and another noteable feature on this new version is the way his head
operates in a unique fashion! His head does follow your every move occasionally, which to some may be
pretty cool and to others... well, maybe a bit creepy! lol.. He comes in two variations found below:

1. Thunderbolt Kills All NPCS is a Marine Follower with an indiscriminately deadly BFG Projectile.

2. Thunderbolt NPCS Safe is a Marine Follower with a NPCS "friendly" Plasmabolt/BFG Projectile.

The NPCS "friendly" Plasmabolt/BFG Projectile is basically safe when used around your friendly NPCS
followers, but if they take a direct hit by mistake, sadly ... they will be killed !!!

Note: Type into the console one of the command lines above including the "" paranthesis! Better yet, copy "=AMS= Thunderbolts" spawn-in
command lines above and paste them in your "DoomConfig.cfg" file. Binding "Thunderbolt" to a "key" will make spawning him easier!

"=UAC= Johnny Lightning" for example, has been re-badged to show his name instead of a generic class. You can change

any name by adding this to the command line... "npc_name" "Your Name Here"


* Important - Make sure to include the paranthesis " " as shown above!
