Second Opium War:
October 23,1856-October 18,1860
Also know as the Arrow War or the Second
Anglo-Chinese War, although France joined in
Casualties: Western powers, approximately 2,900 killed or wounded. China, 12,000- 30,000 killed or wounded.
Results: Britain gets Southern Kowloon. Western powers get extra territorial rights, trade privileges.
