Doxy mempunyai 2 deret gigi tajam dan berbisa.
Dibutuhkan penangkal racun jika terkena gigitan mereka.
Doxy sering dianggap hama, karena mengganggu dan kalau sudah menggigit.
Untuk mengusir Doxy diperlukan Doxycide.
Dan yang paling terkenal dari Doxy yaitu telurnya.
Telur dari Doxy bisa dipakai untuk membuat ramuan Girding Potion.
Bangsa Bowtruckle juga sering memakan telur Doxy.
Doxy bisa menempati rumah, tinggal di gorden.
Melepaskannya membutuhkan persediaan Doxycide yang baik.
Sebagai alternatif, mereka dapat dikirim dengan Jinx Knockback sederhana, karena tempat-tempat sampah sangat rentan terhadapnya, tidak termasuk ratu, yang lebih tahan.
