The Third Estate, still outraged by the dismissal
of Jacques Necker but encouraged because the
Women's March was a success, started to become
extremely violent. Common people would break
into the houses of the upper estates and murder
families, including the pets. Joseph Foullon de Doue('),
the replacement of Jacques Necker, was the first to
have his head chopped off and put on a stick as a sign
of protest. Everyone was able to get away with it
because of the lack of police. Many aristocrats
profiteers, government officials, army officers, and
wealthy people were afraid to go outdoors. Aimee
Renee personally disagreed with this form of protest
because she didn't like what violence ended in,
Stanislas-Marie Malliard thought different. He was
all about change and revolution and fully supported
the ongoing violence. Aimee Renee and him often debated
about what was right in the political context. Sure, the
Third Estate had been poorly treated for years but does
it give them a right to create chaos and change the system
with violence? Aimee thought there was a better, more
peaceful way to change. But to her dismay, she would have
to accept the fact that in order for a grand political change
to happen, blood must be spilled.
