what is <canvas>?
html5 element that draws 2&3D and supported by ie9+

in-browser creations can be saved to file without just screenshots and is easy to implement

have fallbacks and width and height within canvas tag
it's transparent until drawn on with 2D or 3D(WebGL, but not as friendly)

Instead, let's use a canvas, pen tool, and save tool for later or to share

use width and height, don't use styling because it just stretches out your images on the canvas

to draw, we need mousedown, mousemove to draw, then mouseup to stop:
