Banyak seniman diberi kebebasan untuk menghias dinding-dinding di jalanan. Sehingga jalanan tersebut terlihat menarik dan hidup.
Contohnya di sebuah pulau Jepang menghiasi jalanannya dengan karya seni yang sangat indah untuk dipandang. Pulau Tennozu Isle yang terletak di Tokyo Bay/Teluk Tokyo menjadi sebuah kota yang dipenuhi dengan pertunjukan dan karya seni. Karya seni tersebut diciptakan oleh kelompok seniman.
Selain itu banyak karya mural lain, seperti di Shibuya yang terkenal bermakna dan elok.
Selain itu ada seni mural sawah di Jepang (Tanbo Art). Karya seni yang lahir dari desa Inakadate, Tokyo itu sangat kreatif.
