Toepassing van zalf
Houd open oogleden en toepassen van ongeveer 1/4 inch van zalf op het oog. Wees voorzichtig niet om het contact van het oog met de applicator.
Toepassing van Drops
Houd de oogleden open en toepassing van een druppel van medicatie op het oog. Wees voorzichtig niet om het contact van het oog met de applicator.
Opmerking: Bij de toepassing van druppels of zalf, de medicatie kan ook worden ingeprent in de "zak" tussen het onderste ooglid en de oogbol. Het bovenste deksel kan als alternatief worden getrokken terug, zodat het wit van het oog kan worden gezien. Wanneer dit gebeurt het onderste ooglid natuurlijk omhoog zo goed zal worden getrokken-dit zal meestal houden de hond of kat de applicator komt naar hun oog zien. De medicatie wordt dan toegepast op het wit van het oog.
Een extra persoon kan nodig zijn om bepaalde dieren te beperken.
