Question 2: My one reason for the painting that would suggest that this is a deception of the future is simple. In the painting, there is what we would call robots. In this time of history, robots are only simply used for in machines and factories, not in houses and in homes helping the people with their daily lives. Maybe in 10 years or so we would almost all have robots serving us and making our daily lives easier.

Every day in lunch whenever I look around, almost everyone's on their devices instead of actually socializing with their friends.
