Bertujuan melumpuhkan = sapuan dan kuncian ringan
- Bertujuan melumpuhkan atau "menghabisi" musuh = hantaman dan patahan leher
2. Sabuk tan = Syarat minimum semua marinir dengan eaktu pelatihan 27,5 jam. Marinir bisa mendapat sabuk ini setelah menyelesaikan tes aplikasi praktis pada semua teknik dasar MCAP.
Sabuk abu abu = didapat setelah 25 jam pelatihan. Menandakan pengertian marinir akan level menengah dari disiplin dasar pelatihan. Marinir juga harus menyelesaikan pelatihan "Leading Marines" dari institut Marine Corps
Sabuk hijau = memerlukan 25 jam pelatihan. Menandakan pemahaman tentang dasar-dasar lanjutan dari berbagai disiplin ilmu MCAP.
Sabuk coklat = membutuhkan 33 jam latihan. Yang berada ditingkat ini berarti telah paham dasar-dasar lanjutan dari masing-masing disiplin.
Sabuk hitam = memiliki tingkatan 6 tingkat.

Kelas bantam : 125 - 135 pond
Kelas bulu : 135-145 pond
Kelas ringan : 145-155 pond
Kelas welter : 155-170 pond
Kelas menengah : 170-185 pond
Kelas berat ringan : 185-205 pond
Kelas berat : 205-265 pond
Kelas berat super : > 265 pond
