-groupEnd groups console output together
dir() is dope, basically gives you a very detailed object
keys(jQuery)
copy($_) will give you a complex structure, good for AJAX so you can search for object props when using breakpoints (good way to step thru code, duh)
-set conditional breakpoints
*use "debugger;" statement, but take it out of production!
*set watch expressions?
Other types of breakpts: DOM, subtree modifications
subtree doesn't necessarily stop where you expect, sometimes need to be put higher because they get blown out
you can put matching strings at breakpoints with XHR to match URLs (check out docs)
sources lets you search really easily, even if you misspell
{} pretty print will reformat minified code and at least give you line numbers
-if method names are what you want, just search by name (cmd+opt+F)
the purple pause stop sign will only stop on uncaught exceptions
chrome has cool visual tracking tools
-profiles will give you chart to track points of extreme drag
-flame chart shows visual repr.
-frames view shows you how animation is actually coming across
google "discover dev tools"
private mode is great for debugging(and other things lol) -no history, cache, cookies, etc.
use style guide (tabs, spaces, etc.) just be consistent
