3. Tahun Baru Korea (Korea: Seollal (설날) atau Gujeong (舊正). Seollal hari raya rakyat Korea yang terbesar dan terpenting. Seollal dirayakan secara meriah sehingga hari libur berlangsung selama 3 hari karena dianggap lebih penting daripada hari tahun baru kalender Gregorian. Walaupun tidak terlalu populer, istilah Seollal juga berarti Yang-nyeok Seollal (양력설날, tahun baru kalender Gregorian) atau Shinjeong (신정).

Chuseok (bahasa Korea: 추석) atau ditulis sebagai Chusok (Hari bulan purnama), awalnya dikenal sebagai hangawi (한가위 dari bahasa Korea kuno untuk "pertengahan agung (dari musim gugur) adalah sebuah festival panen utama dan hari libur nasional selama tiga hari di Korea Selatan yang dirayakan secara besar-besaran pada hari ke-15 bulan ke-8 kalender lunar. Seperti halnya kebanyakan festival panen lainnya di seluruh dunia, Chuseok dirayakan sekitar ekuinoks musim gugur.
