For as long as I can remember, I’ve been wishing you a happy birthday day. It first started with changing diapers, teaching you words watching you play sports and buying you gifts then we started looking for you :( but now I describe my love for you. I am proudest to call you my daughter, I am happiest that you are, and I am blessed that I am your mother. Ever since you were a little girl I’d remember you running into my room, putting on my long fabulous dresses and smudging lipstick all over your face – pretending to be as beautiful as me LOL, Ever since you were a little girl, I admired the way you brushed your hair, walked and talked. Ever since you were little girl I fell in love with you. Rochana, I wouldn’t know where to start…You’re made of magic and fairy dust…you have the power to cure all heartaches by being by me. I love you. You know when I am happy, you even know when I’m not home at certain hours (I wonder how at times hahaha) , I want to say THANK YOU for being the best daughter any mom could ever dream of having. Thank you for making the impossible happen, thank you for always believing in me.

I am who I am, mostly because of you. We may have spent our lives together under one roof but what we share (you and I) is no ordinary love. You are the best – don’t ever doubt that. You are my daughter and no one will ever take you away. I hope someday, you will be half the motherI am today. I don’t know how you will do it – but everything you do, and make happen…feels like magic. Your Dad and I love you more than you will ever know. Rochana, I look up to you and I’m most proud of you. I may not be close to you right now but trust me I carry you with me wherever I go (even in clubs hahaha) simply because the thought of you, makes me feel safe.
