• Fenrir dibuktikan dalam ‘Poetic Edda’, disusun pada abad ke-13 dari sumber tradisional sebelumnya, dan ‘Prose Edda’ serta ‘Heimskringla’, yang ditulis pada abad ke-13 oleh Snorri Sturluson.
• Snorri Sturluson adalah kakek tua berjanggut putih, ia adalah seorang sejarawan, penyair, dan politikus islandia.
