"Oh," she replied back, "You shouldn't worry about them, they're already sleeping!" she said with a faint smile. Billy then peered around the corner and tried to look up at the floor they were on, but the stairs going up to the next floor looped back towards him.
"No, I want to know. What happened to them?" Billy asked.
"As I said, you shouldn't worry about them. They simply ate then went to sleep. It seemed like Mr....?"
"Temple?" Billy completed.
"Yes, it seemed like Mr. Temple was a very heavy sleeper! It was almost like the instant he hit the bed, he went out cold! I think he just had a hard and tiring day." she stated. Billy then looked at her in a confused look, like he was trying to read her face. Billy doesn't try to read someone's expressions that often, but it seemed like he just couldn't read her face. She only occasionally smiled and got worried about him. He found the quirkiness and the odd habits that she had quite strange, so he asked.
"Why do you do that to your animals again?"
"It's a personal hobby, I plan on practicing it some more today." she said with a faint, but noticeable smile. After she said that, a rush of emotions and thoughts rushed into his head. He decided in a few seconds. He raced upstairs, knowing that the lady wouldn't be able to catch up to him. He raced to his floor and grabbed his suitcase and raced back down.
"Where are you going?" she asked as she pretended to be confused.
"Away from here; away from you." Billy said as he slammed the door shut.
