Jericho
Jericho is an Arabic name. While the meaning of the name is uncertain, it is said to mean one of two things; "City of the Moon", or "City of Fragrance". It is the name of a city mentioned several times in The Bible, The city of Jericho, a Canaan city which was destroyed when its walls fell down.
Abraham
Abraham is an English Christian name of Hebrew origin. It means "Father of Many, and was the name given to Abram by God in Genesis 17:5. Abraham was given his new name when God told Abraham to lead his family and followers into Canaan from Ur.
Elijah
Elijah is a name that comes from the Hebrew name "Eliyyahu", meaning "My God is YAHWEH". Elijah was the name of a Hebrew prophet as seen in the books of 1 Kings and 2 Kings in The Bible. He was alive in the 9th century BC, during the reign of King Ahab of Israel. Elijah confronted the king and queen of their idolatry, and at the end of his life he was carried to heaven in a chariot of fire!
