Archaeologists parents start on a project from the 1500s. Daughter comes along and discovers a necklace buried under one of the bricks, and instead of telling her parents of her find, she puts it on around her neck. The necklace is really a portal back to the time the castle was in use: the 1500s. She is transported back and everyone thinks she the princess that had gone missing. She finds herself loving the attention and uses the portal everyday. Then one day the king decides to marry the girl, and she doesn't agree. She goes to use the necklace but discovers it had been stolen. Her only choice is to seek out the wizard who created the necklace.
Alternative version: The castle is a pyramid, and the girl is transported to ancient egypt. The girl is forced to marry a pharaoh, and she lives quite happily, going back to the future and to the past everyday. Then the pharoh dies, and the girl discovers the plans people have for her. Same ending.
