I found a really good trick that might help us if you want to share with your office. https://govapps.gov.ca.gov/gov39mail/. This number it puts you on hold for 20 minutes then disconnects you
you call a second time and you will go to a rep's vm box.
You can leave a message telling your side of this crazy mess we're in and ask Brown to take a look and keep an eye on the strike because the local media coverage is very one-sided and that they talk to county spokepeople for their spin on events but when it comes to seiu they show our side through courtroom accusations and havent reached out for our side
cv is HUGE on the strike it is insane
they have had like 70 person demonstrations and the only media outlet who came to speak to them was univision...
the san diego union tribune and any local news with "San Diego" has only been interested in showing the board's version if this continues then it could be basically appear as though acting as an arm of the government to maintain the unjust status quo. The reason why it is an American core value to maintaining a free, independent press is so the media will represent the 3 million people living in San Diego, not just the ones with money and power.
if your coworkers are scared to strike remind them:

Fighting what you perceive to be systematic injustice should be a mission for every County worker who believes in the work they do of serving the entire community so when it affects you personally like this, it should definitely be considered a call to action.

Again I know people who arent striking but I know their situation is unique. It is still appreciated everything what people have done until this point to help this thing gain momentum and that is more than what most have done so thank you all for the work you all do every day.
