Theodosia was the daughter of vice president Aaron Burr and Theodosia Bartow Prevost. She got married to Joseph Alston. Joseph Alston was governor of the south carolina in 1812. She had five children that got married.

The Adoptied one's were Aaron Columbus Burr Then Charles Burdett. He married Theodosia Bartow Prevost and his parents were Aaron Burr Sr. And Esther Edwards. Aaron was the third vice president of the United States. He served as a Continental Army officer in the war for freedom then he became a lawyer. He was elected twice for the New York Assembly then he was chosen for U.S. senator. One day Aaron burr went into a duel with Alexander Hamilton.
